Villa Verde Historic District of Phoenix

Villa Verde's homes were designed, built and sold by the same man, Frank B. Wallace. His concept was for an "English-cottage neighborhood," with no two homes alike. There are many architectural styles to be found in Villa Verde, but they all have the same charm and attention to detail. In fact, many of the cozy homes built between 1928 and 1940 look like they came from a Lionel train set.
