Yaple Park Historic District of Phoenix

Yaple Park, named for the original family that farmed the land, was once far outside of the Phoenix city limits. When it was first developed, it was promoted as having mountain views and temperatures that were ten degrees cooler than downtown! The 103 homes built here between 1929 and 1938, are mostly Transitional Ranch style, with a few other styles thrown in for good measure!
